A Journey…

When I finished my internship I wanted to share with the people how was it, in order to convince them to take one, not for the money or for traveling… just to take a process of self-discovery. By chance I found this incredible video that describes exactly what I feel with my journey and I want to share with you :)

Each day my feeling of travel increase… my desire to know the beautiful places of this world are bigger and bigger… my sense of humanity, of learn, of discover the human being are more strong. Now I’m kind of “Stuck” in Bogotá, but each day that I am here is an opportunity to take the best decision :)

One of my dreams is to take a Journey trough South America, in order to discover where I am from :) The movie that I will show you next woke up in me that feeling of  discover my roots, my continent, my home. Hope that you will watch this movie and understand what means be a Latino :) full of  dreams, hopes and feelings, always proud of be what we are :D .

The only world that we have

I want to share with you two videos about this world, both of them represented outside of here :)

The first one is about saving the planet. Hope that some of you have watched the movie Wall-E; this movie is about the future, about our planet and about us. Just at the end of the movie I realized the beauty of this. Take care of our planet is take care of ourselves. In the movie we can see how the human kind has evolved into a fat and lazy one, leaving behind the earth, that is just a planet of dust and loneliness. All that happened to human kind is their responsibility, and they are the only ones that can solve it. Some times we think that if we leave problems like they are, something is going to happen in order to solve the problem. But the reality is other: If we are not change agents nothing is going to happen. This movie is about that, how “In the distant future, a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind”.

The second video is about the farthest image ever taken of our planet. This reflection talks for itself, so let me leave you with Carl Sagan.

This is just a reflection about ours, our planet and our lives.

Tonight, after one week of meeting with old friends and getting all the necesary upgrades, I began to think about me and also the people that I have met during my short life. During this "reflection time" some words came to my head, and I want to share with you two of them: Success and love.

Is so incredible how this two words are so related, not about me, but about all the women that I have had something with. Now all of them are successfully women, doing what they want and love, living incredible lifes, living their dreams and, maybe, being with an incredible person that loves them. I don't know if this is a fact, but the reallity is that. Actually I'm so proud and glad of had met that persons. And what about me? In this moment I'm not the "successfully" person that I desire, but this is not so bad :) .

Hope that somewhere in this world I will find that special person who will make me successfully... while I will continue listen to Bach and enjoying my Club Colombia :)...

Ahh there is something that I've heard in a movie and that is very nice :) :

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away

For what it's worth

It's never too late to be whoever you want to be.

There's no time limit, stop whenever you want.

You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.

We can make the best or the worst of it.

I hope you make the best of it.

And I hope you see things that startle you.

I hope you feel things you never felt before.

I hope you meet people with a different point of view.

I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

El dulce sabor de una mujer exquisita

This is dedicated to those special women that I have found in my life, and that have showed me that happiness is reachable :)

Just time to....

Today is my last day.....

Today is the day to close the biggest circle...

Time to say good bye has come....

Time to look behind and smile...

Time to face the future...

Time to think about time...

Now is my time, now I'm writing my last lines in this blog from Dominican Republic. All the last days I have been looking to the most beautiful sky that I've ever seen... now the wind is blowing... the rain is coming... seems that the city is sad and angry....

People and places... the things that remain in my heart... I've a mixture of feelings... but for sure the things that will happen to me in this year will improve my life....

Now is time to live, say goodbye to the caribbean, send the last email and close my backpack and set my mind to the new challenges in my life.....

Bogotá here I go, now my suitcase is full with dreams, hopes, thoughts, feelings.... but with something different... that the person who is carring has more abilities to achieve them compared with the guy who carried it one year ago....

Adios amigos adios.... just like Calamaro Says...

Subete al progreso!

Today I realized something: Societies evolves with the progress that brings the technology. I saw that this afternoon when I was in the Santo Domingo Subway (Metro de Santo Domingo), after sharing a lot of time with dominican people and understanding the way they do, I was really surprised of discovering how domicans can change when they fell that they are doing bad things with their own stuff.

Let me give you an example: There is a yellow line in the floor of the metro station, you have to be behind that line. Of course all the dominicans were looking the rails of the metro... then the security guy thell them that the have to be behind the line, and they just said OK, I'm sorry!!!! And also when they saw somebody doing it they tell them that the correct thing is to be behind the line.....

Is incredible how in the Country without laws people respect the yellow line! I think that it happpens because they feel that the metro belong to them, that is something that they paid and that they are still paying. The Subway is something that a lot of people in this place have never seen in their lives and that some of them maybe never would have seen ...

From my personal experience I can say that masive public transportation systems can make a change into a society, in Bogotá it was the same, with the Transmilenio, people learnt a lot of things and now Bogotá is a city with a better style of life :) . So, I hope that the Metro will teach to this people how is the progress.... and from this how things can change here.
